Before you reach out
Do I need to meet in person?
No. Consultations happen by phone or video, and documents are signed electronically where the law allows it.
What if my state isn't one of the four?
We may work with a co-counsel attorney licensed in your state. If so, we tell you who is involved and how the fee is divided, and nothing proceeds without your written consent. Your total fee does not go up.
Does contacting you make me a client?
No. An attorney-client relationship begins only after we confirm there is no conflict and you sign an engagement letter. Please don't send confidential details through the form.
How do payments work?
Flat fees are paid up front or in two parts, as written in your engagement letter. Funds are handled according to the trust-account rules of the state involved.
