Frequently asked questions
Can I keep my current job or practice?
The network is intended to support non-exclusive arrangements. Any outside work remains subject to your employer policies, conflicts obligations, and applicable professional rules.
Can I work around my existing schedule?
Some matters, when available, may be compatible with an attorney’s existing commitments. Availability, deadlines, supervision, employer policies, conflicts, and client needs determine whether a particular arrangement is appropriate.
Do I need licenses in multiple states?
No. Attorneys licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction may express interest. Eligibility for a particular matter depends on the applicable jurisdiction and requirements.
How is compensation determined?
Compensation is discussed before a specific engagement is accepted. Depending on the nature of the work and applicable rules, an agreement may use an hourly rate, fixed project fee, or another professionally permissible arrangement. No amount, number of matters, or payment is guaranteed by applying.
Will I receive guaranteed clients, matters, or income?
No. Opportunities depend on actual needs, attorney qualifications, jurisdiction, availability, and appropriate professional agreements. There are no guaranteed referrals, assignments, or earnings.
Is there a fee to apply?
There is no application fee. Expressing interest does not guarantee acceptance, referrals, assignments, income, or a continuing relationship.
Is this employment or a law-firm partnership?
Submitting an inquiry does not create employment, equity ownership, a law-firm partnership, or an attorney-client relationship. Any later collaboration is subject to separate review and appropriate agreements.
What happens to my information?
We use submitted information to review professional eligibility and potential collaboration fit, consistent with our Privacy Policy. Please do not provide confidential client information or sensitive personal documents at the application stage.
Is collaboration remote or part-time?
Some opportunities, if available, may permit remote or flexible work, depending on the matter and client needs. No general scheduling or remote-work guarantee is made.
What types of matters may be considered?
Potential categories include business contract drafting and agreement review, legal research and memoranda, document review and defined legal support projects, and suitable co-counsel matters and attorney-to-attorney referrals, where available.
