From application to agreement
A clear process protects you, your clients, and the lawyers you work with. Nothing is agreed until both sides are ready.
Application
Submit your licensing jurisdiction, practice areas, experience, availability, collaboration interests, and optionally a CV.
Credentials review
We check your license and standing in the relevant state bar's public records and review your experience.
Discussion
If there is mutual interest, we discuss possible collaboration models, timing, and professional requirements.
Conflicts check
Before any specific matter is shared, conflicts and suitability are checked.
Written agreement
Where a suitable opportunity exists, roles, responsibilities, and compensation are agreed in writing.
Potential matter
Work begins only on matters you have reviewed and accepted.
What we check
- Active license and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Public discipline history in the relevant state bar records
- Practice areas and experience relevant to a potential matter
- Conflicts and suitability before any matter is shared
What we never request at this stage
- Social Security numbers or government ID documents
- Financial account details
- Confidential client information
Your professional obligations stay with you
Any outside work remains subject to your employer policies, conflicts obligations, malpractice coverage, and the professional conduct rules of the jurisdictions involved.
